Gossip is evil; that's what we're taught, right? But is it always a bad thing. Last week I went to lunch with a group of friends and someone mentioned a lady we all know. Her husband has been laid off more times in the last couple of years than anyone I know. On the positive side, he's repeatedly found a new job. We gossiped about this family, mostly the wife, and it was all good. We admired her determination to make the best of a bad situation and how generous she is with her time and resources. Her husband is upbeat and makes finding a job his full time occupation.
It's true, I took part in gossiping and it felt good.
