Today's drawer activity is non-"Christmas"y. We are having Ben's birthday dinner. I think it's important to give those people whose birthdays are around Christmas a birthday celebration, not just a combo birthday/Christmas gift.
I concur! One of my sisters was born on Dec 25. We traditionally had Christmas in the morning, then we sang 'Silent Night' in the afternoon to close Christmas and went straight into Happy Birthday! We'd have a separate family party complete with cake and presents wrapped in birthday paper. Happy Birthday to Ben!

I like how you family handled your sister's Christmas birthday. I'm sure it stretched out the fun even more!
