Forth of July Week, Day Two

Yesterday was another fun day at Summer School. We read a story about Paul Revere and learned about the Revolution. We sang "You're a Grand Old Flag" and learned about the song "Yankee Doodle Dandy". I didn't know that the British started the song as an insult to the colonist. The highlight of the day was fireworks in a glass - don't worry there were no explosives in the house.
